Naples is a mix of many things: the local music, the beautiful castles, the wonderful seafront, the history told by the architecture, myths and legends, but above all Naples is made of love… like the love for food! You can’t say you’ve been to Naples if you’ve never tried the local food and culture.
A Neapolitan guide will take you through the alleys of the Spanish Quarters and share with you the stories of the daily life, habits and traditions of the locals. You’ll learn the secret of regional recipes while drinking and eating thanks to the best daily selection of local street food.
A series of vendors and foods have been carefully selected for you to offer you the best that the Neapolitan streets have to offer. Crispy fried sweets (for example pizza fritta), fresh mozzarella, traditional savory biscuits (taralli), white wine and a last memorable dessert to pamper your taste buds! No matter what, the important thing is to try all the delicious local food prepared with love!
With the tour you will discover the Pignasecca market, you will be surrounded by scents, colors and sounds that will make you feel part of Naples. You will walk through the Quartieri Spagnoli area that hides the unimaginable: the Sanctuary of Maradona’s Football, an authentic myth for Neapolitans.
The street guide will tell you interesting stories while you share a drink with the group. The walk will end with a fresh and refined dessert a few steps from Via Toledo and the metro station: not the usual dessert, but the legendary “snowflake” with whipped cream!
The tour is available all year round from Monday to Saturday and starts at 11 am. It is a group tour but there is the possibility to book private tours (the price for private tours varies).
